Bella

This is my first blog post, please bear with me while I stumble through.

Bella was my baby; we lost her three weeks ago tomorrow. She is one of the beautiful girls on the home page, and one of the reasons we started BuddyDawg's. We lost Linda three days before her dad and I got married, and we lost Bell two days after her 15th birthday. I still cry thinking about them both. I know some of you will understand the devastation that goes with losing your fur babies. We are still making our way through the loss, and in the process trying to restore order among the rest of the pack. At our little shop, we had a giveaway of Bella's favorite mini cakes (Strawberry/carob). It seems that there are other fur babies that like the combination, which was great to hear. I wanted to start this blog a while back, but could never think about what to talk about, thanks to Bella who let me ramble about anything and everything, I will for now use this blog to ramble about anything and everything. Somewhere down the line some sort of order will come, I just have to let it sort it's self out. The greatest thing I learned about life from Bella is to just let anything and everything out, and they will fall where they are supposed to. Bella never took to much personally, and she never held grudges with anyone, or anything. People say that when you lose a dog, the dog takes a piece of your heart with them, and leaves you with a piece of their heart. In the end if you have loved enough dogs, you will leave with the heart of a dog. I have also heard that in the end all the dogs who have a piece of your heart will be waiting for you.

Thank you for letting me talk about anything, I appreciate the ability to ramble here. If anyone has any suggestions about what direction this blog should take, please let me in on it.

Bella's mom (Amy)
